Sour Cherry season comes but once a year and to me, it’s like having Christmas in July! These tart little scarlet jems are available for a few weeks only. I hoard bushels of these cuties to make one of my favorite summer treats–sour cherry pie, well, technically it’s a cobbler. Here’s a recipe for sour cherry cobbler, now get out there and nab a few pints, you might have to wrestle them from me!! This year, I added a new twist by grating some lime zest to the filling which reminds me of a wonderful summertime cocktail: a sour cherry lime ricky. Salut!
